2025 Annual Benefit Concert: An Evening with Jason White
On September 18th, more than 150 guests attended the Roots of American Music Annual Benefit Concert at the Music Box Supper Club featuring award winning singer-songwriter Jason White.
About the Evening
ROOTS founder Kevin Richards and his band Bent String featuring Kari Ann Rutushin, Reed Simon and Cleveland Blues Hall of Fame upright bassist, Ray DeForest, kicked off the evening.
Scotty Huff, a Nashville-based session and touring musician accompanied Jason on bass and back-up vocals. Jason played some new original songs like Rock, Paper, Scissors as well as some of his classic songs, including Red Ragtop, At the Alibi and Ghost of Thoreau.
