JT's Electrik Blackout Live at Edwins Too

Join Akron Jazz group JT’s Electrik Blackout at Edwins Too (13220 Shaker SQ) on Saturday, October 7th at 7 PM. $10 Cover. Blackout will be performing some of their original music and the music of American Jazz saxophonist, Wayne Shorter.

JT’s Electrik Blackout is a rising Contemporary-Fusion group in the Akron scene. Created and Led by saxophonist Justin Tibbs in 2017, JT’s Electrik Blackout uses many elements from Jazz, Rock, R&B, and Fusion to define the group’s sound. JT’s Electrik Blackout has its listeners on the edge of their seats due to their uses of texture, dynamics, and sound. Justin is also the leader of JT's Electrik Blackout and JT's Spark Trio. Justin's music has also been performed by The Canton Symphony pocket orchestra for their Divergent series. They have performed at The Rubber City Jazz and Blues Fest, Porch Rokr, Hello Akron, John Brown House Sweet Sounds of Equality Concert, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lock 3, and The Knight Center Zenithawards
