Jack DiAlesandro

Jack plays guitar, piano, banjo, mandolin and harmonica and has performed throughout the United States as a solo performer as well as an accompanist to many well known straditional artists such as Johnny Gimble, Jethro Burns, Kenny Baker and Josh Graves. Besides performing, Jack is a sought-after teacher and is a master in the complex ragtime guitar styles of Reverend Gary Davis and Blind Blake. He serves as Curriculum Developer and Performer for Roots of American Music. For the past 20 years, Jack has worked as a professor at Kent State University.
