Jason
Lustig
Jason Lustig has served as the Director of Education
for Roots of American Music since the summer of 2006. He has served
as a classroom artist and technical advisor to ROAM since 2005. Jason
Lustig began his career with ROAM in 2001 as the chief recording
engineer at all ROAM student recording sessions.
Jason is a staff engineer at Metrosync Studios, Cleveland's largest full-scale recording studio. He also runs his own freelance recording business which takes him around the mid-west recording albums in a wide variety of genres. Jason also teaches multi-track recording at the renowned Cleveland Institute of Music.
Jason has been a performing musician for well over a decade, having released seven albums of original material and touring nationally with one of his clients, Darling Waste. Jason spent several summers teaching continuing education classes in Rochester, NY in both writing (journalism, creative writing) and the visual arts. He has also lead several independent studies programs in recording prior to working for the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Jason Lustig has his B.A. in music from Case Western Reserve University in a joint program with the Cleveland Institute of Music.
