Cindy
Hill
Ms.
Hill's world hand drumming studies began in 1996. Trained in rhythm
facilitation, she founded Rhythm Culture in 1998 and has since placed
drums and world percussion instruments into the hands of thousands of
children and adults throughout Cuyahoga County. Ms. Hill joined the
Roots of American Music in 2000 to help support their mission of bringing
American Roots music to school-age children. Under Roots of American
Music, Ms. Hill teaches workshops and residencies and leads a school
assembly program called Living Rhythms. She has also been an ICARE artist
through Roots of American Music since 2002. She has written award-winning
curriculum and educational materials for a variety of national publishers,
NASA, and WVIZ-TV.
